Testing Blogo - the neatest blogging app yet

This is just a little test, I hope it works well. I shall now try to make this bold, and this italic. Now I will underline this, and make a correction of thiss this. How about a quote:

Don't do do others, what you wouldn't do to them

Now a list of things:

  1. one thing
  2. second thing
  3. third thing, this is nice
A link to my favourite company.

An an image of my humble self:

That's it, I guess. If this works well, I'll get this software.

Is MacJournal the answer?

I have been playing around a fair bit now, and MacJournal seems quite nice and simple, and it’s easy to format the posts. And there is a nice full screen mode. For example, a list works like this:

1. This is a numbered list
2. I get a number automatically for each return
3. I feel it is as easy as Markdown

And it is easy to get out of list mode.

With Markdown you can keep your fingers on your keyboard if you want to do bold for example, or italics, but it is just as easy in MacJournal, I feel.

How about pictures, then? Let’s try!

Looks OK locally, I hope it does on the blog too...

Ecto up and running

Now beginning to use Ecto Alfa for Mac OS X, looks good so far.

Let's see how this little list works:

  1. First I want to see how Ecto compares to the other tools

  2. I then want to start blogging

  3. ... in order to become the blogging star of Japan

  4. So how do you get out of list mode...?

Hm, had to do it buy entering html mode...

Lets do a blockquote here!

OK, let's try to publish...

Time for MarsEdit

OK, now we will try MarsEdit for this stuff...

Always nice to be able to put in html tags automatically.

Lets try a preformatted paragraph:

Looks pretty neat, using this tag.

A block quote is always nice.

Let's end it here.

Can I put a link to my Swedish radio page here?

Some fancy stuff

OK, let’s try some fancy stuff. I will try to format this message to see what happens.

This is kind of cool

Now I have finally found a nice client for Blogger, which is MacJournal. I can type with my Dvorak keyboard with full functionality. Everything seems to work as expected! Cool.
